CFDJ - Sys-Con's Response to the ColdFusion community...

I found this in one of my Google News Alerts this morning:

http://search.sys-con.com/read/427080.htm

I can't believe these guys. Sys-Con, we think you've been running a terrible magazine. For me, I didn't have a problem with ads. It was content, or the lack thereof. To put it another way, YOU SUCK!!! It appears you'll continue to suck without ColdFusion developers telling you how much you suck.

Wow....

They (sys-con) seem to have omitted a sentiment that so many in the community have expressed.

That the content was not satisfactory.

Mr Hamilton says "My question is if Adobe does not care about their own community or their own language advancement, why should they expect an outside magazine publisher to do this job for them, and at no cost?"...

Mr Hamilton, I would (if I were Adobe) certainly question supporting sys-con's magazine, because many in it's (CFDJ) market seem quite unsatisfied with it's content.

Maybe Adobe would be better off to take a more active role in the production of their own publication or support another publication which better represents the desired content.

I guess, it's a business... and the writing was on the wall for CFDJ.

That's my 2 cents.

;-)
